Camera/Video Inspection: A live visual camera inspection of your drain will accurately pinpoint problem areas. Jiffy Plumbing & Heating recognizes the importance of providing clients with state of the art, accurate and verifiable diagnoses. Without the use of a camera/video inspection, even the best drain specialist cannot tell the true condition of the line or the exact extent of a problem. If the camera reveals a problem that leads to an excavation done by Jiffy, then the price of the camera work will be rebated to you.
Drain & Sewer: Our team of specialists provides a full range of services. As fully trained technicians, we have the equipment and the know-how to quickly solve your drain problems. Drain problems come in many forms: pipes that are broken, cracked, corroded, bellied, back-graded, root infiltrated or blocked by grease build-up, foreign objects or rust & calcification. Jiffy Plumbing & Heating uses different types and sizes of cable and jetting equipment to eliminate these obstructions and provide you with a sanitary drain system you can count on.
Faucets: Old to new, repair to replacement, plain, fancy or in-between, single handle, double handle, finishes – the possibilities are nearly endless! No matter what your faucet needs, Jiffy can offer you a leak-free solution. And we almost forgot, will that be with or without cut-off valves and supply lines?
Gas: There are numerous applications for the plumber to provide gas work in the home. Some of them are heating uses in furnaces and boilers, conveniences such as firelogs & other hearth products, gas clothes dryers, gas lights, and so forth. Gas has a tremendous capacity for danger as well, in that in concentrations of between 4 and 14% gas is highly explosive. It is very important, therefore, to have professionals such as Jiffy’s mechanics both do the work and have the work pressure tested to ensure the integrity of the gas line.
Hydro Jetting: This technique uses high-velocity water pressure to blast away accumulated scale, silt and/or grease build-up on the inside of pipe walls. At up to 3800 psi, hydro jetting has the power to burst open even the toughest obstructions and, at the same time, scour the full diameter of the pipe clean while flushing grease and debris backwards and away to the city main line.
Piping: Comfort without pipe? We don’t think so – and at Jiffy we install and service them all! Copper, PVC, polybutylene, flue pipe, water pipe, sewer or vent pipe, A class, B class, C class – we could go on, but you’ve got the idea. Different pipe is properly used for different applications. In some cases, more than one type is available, but should be selected only after the user weighs the benefits, including price and durability. Sinks: Lavy (or bathroom hand basin), kitchen, bathroom and laundry tub are the primary household sinks, and are available in a wide universe of color, style and design that might be just what you are looking for. Do you happen to need a special faucet or an older model to match up? If it can be had, we’ll have it.
Water & Sewer Service: These jobs are commonly done for homes in which the existing service is broken. Jobs requiring repair or replacement of such lines must be “permitted” and “passed” by the local water utility. In most cases, Jiffy can provide the homeowner with the documentation necessary to obtain a water bill credit for the water lost during the leak, and also provide documentation to allow significant insurance company recovery, if available.
Water Heaters: Most homes use either gas or electric hot water heaters. Gas hot water heaters can be either propane or natural gas, draft vented or power-assisted venting. Recently, tankless hot water heaters have grown in popularity. At Jiffy, we service and sell them all. And remember, they’re supposed to be flushed out annually to remove any sediment buildup.
